Role Summary

We are seeking a Product Manager to drive the creation of new payment products and features at 10n Payments, with a strong emphasis on customer acquisition, engagement, and retention. You will own the full product lifecycle — from ideation and market validation through specification, launch, and post-launch optimisation — ensuring every new offering is designed to attract users, activate them quickly, and keep them engaged over time. Working within a regulated fintech environment, you will balance growth-oriented product innovation with compliance, risk, and operational resilience requirements. This role is ideal for a commercially minded product leader who understands how product mechanics directly influence user sign-up funnels, transactional behaviour, and long-term customer lifetime value.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end new product development for digital wallet and payment solutions, from concept and business case through to market launch
• Define product specifications that directly support customer acquisition goals: onboarding flows, referral mechanics, incentive programmes, and partnership integrations
• Design and optimise user journeys focused on activation, first transaction, and habit formation to maximise early-stage retention
• Develop and maintain a customer retention roadmap: churn prediction, re-engagement campaigns, loyalty features, and personalised user experiences
• Conduct quantitative and qualitative research to understand customer segments, pain points, and unmet needs in the payments and digital wallet space
• Define and track growth and retention KPIs (CAC, LTV, activation rate, DAU/MAU, churn, NPS) and use data to prioritise the product backlog
• Write detailed B/PRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria that clearly link product features to acquisition and retention outcomes
• Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and Business Development to align product launches with go-to-market strategies and partner channel opportunities
• Work closely with Engineering and Design to ensure rapid iteration, A/B testing, and data-driven feature validation
• Ensure all product decisions account for regulatory requirements (PSD2, DORA, AML/CFT) without compromising user experience or growth velocity
• Analyse competitive offerings and market trends to identify differentiation opportunities and new revenue streams
• Present product performance, growth metrics, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership and external partners

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of product management experience, with at least 2 years in fintech, payments, digital wallets, or consumer financial services
• Proven track record of launching new products or major features that measurably improved customer acquisition, activation, or retention metrics
• Deep understanding of growth product mechanics: onboarding optimisation, referral programmes, gamification, push/in-app engagement, and lifecycle marketing
• Strong analytical skills with hands-on experience defining, tracking, and interpreting growth KPIs (CAC, LTV, cohort retention, funnel conversion)
• Experience writing detailed product specifications (PRDs, user stories, wireframes) that engineering teams can execute against
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and ability to run fast-paced discovery and delivery cycles
• Understanding of payment products, digital wallets, and how user trust and regulatory transparency affect conversion and retention
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; ability to align technical, commercial, and compliance stakeholders around growth objectives
• Fluent English (written and spoken); Bulgarian is a strong plus

Nice to Have

• Experience with B2B2C or white-label product models and partner co-development
• Background in growth hacking, performance marketing, or CRM-driven retention strategies
• Technical background in software development or system architecture
• Experience with Visa Direct, SEPA Instant, or other real-time payment schemes from a product perspective
• Knowledge of AML/CFT, KYC, KYB and transaction monitoring requirements and how to design compliant yet frictionless user flows
• MBA or relevant business/technology degree
• Experience launching products in multiple EU markets with localised acquisition strategies
